Modular Units

BIOMETHANE

1. BIOGAS CLEANING BEFORE BIOMETHANE PRODUCTION
This equipment is meant to remove hydrogen sulfide, siloxanes, moisture, and other contaminants from biogas, ensuring the quality of the biomethane generated and the longevity of the biomethane production equipment.

  • Carbon filters.
  • Dehumidification equipment.
  • Oxygen generators and dispensers.
  • Dosing equipment for liquid additives.

2. COMPRESSORS FOR THE COMPRESSION OF BIOGAS

For the manufacturing of modular compressors, we employ ADICOMP and SAFE compressors from the major biogas compressor manufacturers. Depending on whether high- or low-pressure compressors are required, the most appropriate one is chosen. Our modular compressors have been thoroughly tested and are ready for use. A compressor may be fully operational in a facility in a matter of days.

3. BIOMETHANE PRODUCTION EQUIPMENT

We use UBE membranes from what we believe to be the best Japanese manufacturer for biomethane production devices. We model each device according to the composition and amount of biogas, together with Japanese specialists, choosing the optimal number of membranes that ensure maximum methane filtration and the lowest energy consumption to achieve the result. The technology of two compressors allows for even pressure in the membranes, which ensures long-term operation of such a device, high efficiency, and low energy consumption. Also, these membranes are not as sensitive to hydrogen sulfide as competitors membranes, so they are more suitable for agriculture or small industries.

4. BIOMETHANE COMPRESSORS

JSC BIOKONA produces biogas, biomethane, and natural gas modular compressors. We deliver a fully finished product to the consumer. We employ world-class compressors from ADICOMP and SAFE in the manufacture of modular compressors. The major specifications of biogas modular compressors are pressures ranging from 0.05 to 20 bar (g) and maximum flow rates of up to 3000 m3/h. Natural gas or biomethane compressors have pressures ranging from 0.05 bar (g) to 250 bar (g) and maximum flow rates of up to 3000 m3/h. We may also provide modular compressors with greater specifications based on the customer’s requested pressure, flow, or gas composition requirements.

5. BIOMETHANE AND NATURAL GAS REGULATION POINTS AND MODULES FOR ADMISSION TO THE NATURAL GAS NETWORK

One of the most essential modules in the production of biomethane is the module for introducing biomethane into the network, which includes gas control points, gas analysis and accounting equipment, and data transmission components. The set of these devices ensures that the gas supplied to main or distribution pipelines meets the requirements of the gas operator, allowing the client to smoothly supply gas to networks, perform gas composition analysis and accounting, and, based on these data, obtain green certificates for biomethane trade. The module’s equipment is all coordinated with the gas distribution operator and fulfills their highest technical and technological criteria.

6. BIOMETHANE TRANSPORTATION AND DECOMPRESSION EQUIPMENT

If the plant is located a long distance from the point of gas input into the networks, we can provide modular decompression and transportation equipment. We provide high-pressure cylinder cartridges for approved trailers made by the Italian manufacturer Paolo Piccini, ensuring seamless biomethane filling, transit, and discharge to the gas receiving point. These gas cartridges may be loaded with up to 250 bar of pressure and 5800 Nm3 of gas volume.
The pressure at the intake must be decreased to 3 – 55 bar. We provide a decompression module for this procedure to enable steady gas release with the appropriate characteristics. Decompression modules can deliver gas to the network or your gas consumer at rates ranging from 10 to 5000 m3/h.
